一位遠從香港來的病人，因為在香港找不到矯正醫師可以幫她解決開咬問題，怎麼問都是需要靠手術，所以決定來台北就診。就診斷上她有著未解決的上顎狹窄以及下顎牙齒網內傾的問題，最嚴重的是患者的後牙區，有著過度高、突出 (elongation)，沒有正確壓入 (intrusion)的問題。
這些主因還是來自於矯正時期，後牙區的齒槽骨問題未解決！
